Terms & Privacy

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from Sculpté Glacé (“we”, “us”). Please read them before ordering — by placing an order you accept them. Our Shipping & Returns page forms part of these terms, and how we handle your personal data is set out in clause 16 below.

1. Who We Are

Sculpté Glacé is a latex clothing business based in Singapore. You can reach us at sculpteglace@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to order from this website. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or over and legally able to enter into a contract.

3. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before that point — for example if an item is unavailable, if a price has been listed in error, or if we cannot make the piece to the specification requested. Where we cancel, we refund you in full.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including size, colourway and delivery address.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD) and exclude delivery, which is shown separately before you pay. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect an order we have already confirmed.

Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Production does not begin until payment has cleared. Import duties and taxes are not included and are dealt with under clause 6.

5. Made to Order and Lead Times

Garments are made after you order, in the size and colourway you select. Dispatch is normally two weeks from purchase. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees; where a delay is likely we will tell you as soon as we know. Made-to-measure orders are quoted and scheduled individually.

6. Delivery, Duties, Title and Risk

We ship worldwide by tracked courier at the flat rates set out on the Shipping page. Delivery estimates run from dispatch and are not guaranteed, as transit and customs clearance are outside our control.

Any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country are payable by the recipient and are not included in the price. Where a parcel is returned to us because duties were unpaid, delivery was refused, or the address was wrong, we can reship it once it reaches us, at the original delivery rate.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

7. Cancellation, Exchanges and Refunds

Production begins 12 hours after purchase. You may cancel and receive a full refund at any time before production begins. After that, because each piece is made to order as intimate apparel, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

We exchange for a different size within 14 days of delivery on unworn, undamaged pieces in their original packaging. Faulty or transit-damaged goods are repaired or replaced at our cost if reported within 7 days of delivery. Full detail is on the Shipping & Returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Product Descriptions and Variation

Every garment is cut and glued by hand, so minor variation in seam placement, trim and finish is normal and is not a fault. Latex is highly reflective and screens differ, so colours may not match photographs exactly. Measurements on the size guide are body measurements, not garment measurements, and are given to the nearest stated range.

9. Latex, Safety and Correct Use

Our garments are made from natural rubber latex, which contains proteins known to cause allergic reactions. Do not wear our products if you have a known or suspected latex allergy. If you are unsure, consult a doctor before handling latex clothing.

Latex is damaged permanently by contact with copper, brass and bronze, and degraded by oils, solvents, heat and sunlight. It is not flame resistant. You are responsible for following the care guidance we provide; damage caused by incorrect dressing, care or storage is not covered.

10. Use of This Website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or use automated means to extract its content. We may withdraw or change the site, or suspend access, without notice.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, text and other content on this website belong to Sculpté Glacé or are used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity — including any loss arising from a delivery delay.

13. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, customs delays, supply shortages, industrial action or natural events. Where such an event continues for an extended period, either of us may cancel the affected order and we will refund you for anything not yet delivered.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and changes are not applied retrospectively.

15. Governing Law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Singapore, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

16. Privacy and Personal Data

We are based in Singapore and handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This clause sets out what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect. When you order: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the items you bought. Payment is processed by Stripe — card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them. When you submit a made-to-measure enquiry: your name, email address and the body measurements you choose to give us; we ask only for the measurements needed to cut the piece, and we never ask for photographs. When you browse: anonymous analytics about pages visited, not linked to your identity or your order.

Measurements. We treat body measurements as sensitive. They are used only to quote for and produce your garment. They are never used for marketing, never shared with anyone outside production, and never published or shown as examples. We keep them while your order is in progress and for 12 months afterwards so that a repeat order or an alteration does not require you to measure again — and we delete them sooner if you ask.

How we use your data. To process your order, to communicate with you about production and delivery, and to handle exchanges. We do not send marketing email unless you have explicitly asked for it.

Sharing. We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with the services that fulfil your order: Stripe for payment, our email provider for order correspondence, and the courier for delivery. Couriers receive your name and address only — never your measurements and never a description of the contents beyond what customs requires.

Discretion. Orders ship in plain, unbranded packaging. We do not use the brand name in the subject line of correspondence you have not initiated, and we will never contact you on a channel you have not used with us first.

Retention. Order records are kept for seven years, as required for tax and accounting. Measurements are kept for 12 months as described above. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics defaults.

Your rights. You may ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, including your measurements. Email sculpteglace@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting data attached to an order still in production may mean we cannot complete it.
